Perspectives is a bi-annual publication of the LGBTQ section of the Society for the Psychology of Women, a professional division of the American Psychological Association (Section 4 of APA Division 35). The mission of the Section is to develop and advance feminist understanding of sexual orientation, heterosexism, homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia. Perspectives publishes information about Section 4 activities, announcements about professional development opportunities for members, and articles addressing issues that impact LGBTQ individuals and communities.
